On the first day of college, the dean addressed the students, pointing out some of the rules:
“The female dormitory will be out-of-bounds for all male students, and the male dormitory to the female students. Anybody caught breaking this rule will be fined $20 the first time. Anybody caught breaking this rule the second time will be fined $60. Being caught a third time will cost you $180. Are there any questions?”
One student raised his hand and asked, “How much for a season pass?”
在大學(xué)第一天，院長(zhǎng)給新生們囑咐學(xué)院的一些規(guī)定：
“男生不準(zhǔn)進(jìn)入女生宿舍，男生宿舍也同樣。誰要是違反了這條紀(jì)律，第一次罰款20美元，第二次罰款60美元，第三次罰款180美元。有什么問題嗎？”
一個(gè)學(xué)生舉手問道：“季卡多少錢？”
