這對我來說沒什么麻煩
It was a very foggy day in London. The fog was so thick that it was impossible to see more than a foot or so. Buses, cars and taxis were not able to run and were standing by the side of the road. People were trying to find their way about on foot but were losing their way in the fog.
Mr. Smith had a very important meeting at the House of Commons and had to get there but no one could take him. He tried to walk there but found he was quite lost. Suddenly he bumped into a stranger. The stranger asked if he could help him. Mr. Smith said he wanted to get to the Houses of Parliament. The stranger told him he would take him there. Mr. Smith thanked him and they started to walk there. The fog was getting thicker every minute but the stranger had no difficulty in finding the way. He went along one street, turned down another, crossed a square and at last after about half an hour's walk they arrived at the Houses of Parliament. Mr. Smith couldn't understand how the stranger found his way. "It is wonderful," he said. "How do you find the way in the fog?"
"It is no trouble at all to me," said the stranger: " I am blind."
倫敦的一個大霧天。霧太濃了，幾乎不超過一英尺左右。公共汽車和出租車，汽車無法行駛，站在路邊。人們正試圖找到自己腳下的路，但都在霧中迷了路。史密斯先生有一個很重要的會議，，但沒有人可以帶他走。他想走，卻發現自己完全迷失了方向。突然他碰到一個陌生人。陌生人問他是否可以幫他。史密斯先生說他要去國會大廈。陌生人說他會帶他去那里。史密斯先生對他表示感謝，他們開始步行去那里。霧越來越濃，但這位陌生人毫無困難地走。他穿過一條街，拐進另一個廣場，過了大約半個小時的步行到達國會大廈。史密斯先生不明白這個陌生人是怎么找到路的。”它是奇妙的，”他說。”你怎么在大霧中找到路的？”“這對我來說沒什么麻煩，”陌生人說：“我是個盲人。”
