我能看見月亮
The old man was a witness in a burglary trial.
The defense lawyer asks Sam, "Did you see my client commit this burglary?"
"Yes," said Sam, "I saw him plainly take the goods."
The lawyer asks Sam again, "Sam, this happened at night. Are you sure you saw my client commit this crime?"
"Yes," says Sam, "I saw him do it."
Then the lawyer asks Sam, "Sam listen, you are 80 years old and your eyesight probably is bad. Just how far can you see at night?"
Sam says, "I can see the moon, how far is that?"
山姆老頭在一起盜竊案庭審中充當證人。
辯方律師詢問山姆：“你看見了我的當事人實施這起盜竊行為？”
“對，”山姆說，“我清楚地看見他拿東西。”
律師又問：“山姆，這是在夜間出的事，你確定你看見了我的當事人實施了犯罪行為？”
“對，”山姆說，“我看見他干的這事?！?BR> 律師接著問，“山姆，聽清楚，你80歲了，而且眼神可能也不行，在夜間你也就能看到多遠呢？”
山姆說：“我能看見月亮，那是多遠？”
