You Can Come Down Now
The cruise ship my friend was working on docked at a Mexican port during a very high tide. Everyone on board was forced to use the ship's narrow gangplank as a passageway to the dock far below.
The staff stood motionless when a passenger in her 70s appear at the top of the plank. There wasn't room for anyone to assist her，so she edged along slowly and
finally made it to the dock safely，to everyone's relief. As she stepped down，she turned，looked back at the top of the plank and shouted，“I'ts okay，Mother，you can come down now.“

一位七十多歲的老婦人出現在跳板頂端時，船上的工作人員都嚇得呆立著，大氣不敢出。跳板太窄，沒有辦法讓人去攙扶她，所以她自己慢慢地側著身子往下走，最后終于安全地到達了
碼頭上，大家也都放心了。她下來后，轉過身，望著跳板的頂端喊道：“沒關系，媽媽，您現在可以下來了。”
