One day when women's dresses were on sale at the Far East Department Store, a dignified middle-aged man decided to get his wife a piece. But he soon found himself being battered by frantic women.
He stood it as long as he could; then, with head lowered and arms flailing（用力揮動）, he plowed through the crowd.
"You there!" challenged a thrill voice. "Can't you act like a gentleman?"
"Listen," he said, "I have been acting like a gentleman for an hour. From now on, I am acting like a lady."
有天遠東百貨商場女裝大減價，一位有身份的中年男子打算給太太來一件，可他很快發現自己被這幫瘋了似的娘兒們給好一通蹂躪。
他先還盡量忍著，最后他一埋頭，甩開膀子，拼命趟過人堆。
“你，那誰！”有個激烈的聲音責問他，“你就不能表現得像個紳士嗎？”
“聽著，”他說，“我表現得像個紳士都一個鐘頭了，打現在起，我要表現得像個女士！”
