舊約 -- 以賽亞書(Isaiah) -- 第48章
48：1 雅各家，稱為以色列名下，從猶大水源出來的，當聽我言。你們指著耶和華的名起誓，題說以色列的神，卻不憑誠實，不憑公義。
Hear ye this， O house of Jacob， which are called by the name of Israel， and are come forth out of the waters of Judah， which swear by the name of the LORD， and make mention of the God of Israel， but not in truth， nor in righteousness.
48：2 （他們自稱為圣城的人，所倚靠的是名為萬軍之耶和華以色列的神For they call themselves of the holy city， and stay themselves upon the God of Israel； The LORD of hosts is his name.
48：3 主說，早先的事我從古時說明，已經出了我的口，也是我所指示的，我忽然行作，事便成就。
I have declared the former things from the beginning； and they went forth out of my mouth， and I shewed them； I did them suddenly， and they came to pass.
48：4 因為我素來知道你是頑梗的，你的頸項是鐵的，你的額是銅的，Because I knew that thou art obstinate， and thy neck is an iron sinew， and thy brow brass；
48：5 所以我從古時將這事給你說明，在未成以先指示你，免得你說，這些事是我的偶像所行的，是我雕刻的偶像，和我鑄造的偶像所命定的。
I have even from the beginning declared it to thee； before it came to pass I shewed it thee： lest thou shouldest say， Mine idol hath done them， and my graven image， and my molten image， hath commanded them.
48：6 你已經聽見，現在要看見這一切，你不說明嗎，從今以后，我將新事就是你所不知道的隱密事，指示你。
Thou hast heard， see all this； and will not ye declare it？ I have shewed thee new things from this time， even hidden things， and thou didst not know them.
48：7 這事是現今造的，并非從古就有，在今日以先，你也未曾聽見，免得你說，這事我早已知道了。
They are created now， and not from the beginning； even before the day when thou heardest them not； lest thou shouldest say， Behold， I knew them.
48：8 你未曾聽見，未曾知道，你的耳朵從來未曾開通。我原知道你行事極其詭詐，你自從出胎以來，便稱為悖逆的。
Yea， thou heardest not； yea， thou knewest not； yea， from that time that thine ear was not opened： for I knew that thou wouldest deal very treacherously， and wast called a transgressor from the womb.
48：9 我為我的名，暫且忍怒，為我的頌贊，向你容忍，不將你剪除。
For my name's sake will I defer mine anger， and for my praise will I refrain for thee， that I cut thee not off.
48：10 我熬鏈你，卻不像熬鏈銀子。你在苦難的爐中，我揀選你。
Behold， I have refined thee， but not with silver； I have chosen thee in the furnace of affliction.
48：11 我為自己的緣故必行這事，我焉能使我的名被褻瀆，我必不將我的榮耀歸給假神。
For mine own sake， even for mine own sake， will I do it： for how should my name be polluted？ and I will not give my glory unto another.
48：12 雅各，我所選召的以色列阿，當聽我言。我是耶和華，我是首先的，也是末后的。
Hearken unto me， O Jacob and Israel， my called； I am he； I am the first， I also am the last.
48：13 我手立了地的根基，我右手鋪張諸天，我一招呼便都立住。
Mine hand also hath laid the foundation of the earth， and my right hand hath spanned the heavens： when I call unto them， they stand up together.
48：14 你們都當聚集而聽，他們（或作偶像）內中誰說過這些事。耶和華所愛的人，必向巴比倫行他所喜悅的事，他的膀臂也要加在迦勒底人身上。
All ye， assemble yourselves， and hear； which among them hath declared these things？ The LORD hath loved him： he will do his pleasure on Babylon， and his arm shall be on the Chaldeans.
48：15 惟有我曾說過，我又選召他，領他來，他的道路就必亨通。
I， even I， have spoken； yea， I have called him： I have brought him， and he shall make his way prosperous.
48：16 你們要就近我來聽這話。我從起頭并未曾在隱密處說話，自從有這事，我就在那里。現在主耶和華差遣我和他的靈來。（或作耶和華和他的靈差遣我來）
Come ye near unto me， hear ye this； I have not spoken in secret from the beginning； from the time that it was， there am I： and now the Lord GOD， and his Spirit， hath sent me.
48：17 耶和華你的救贖主，以色列的圣者如此說，我是耶和華你的神，教訓你使你得益處，引導你所當行的路。
Thus saith the LORD， thy Redeemer， the Holy One of Israel； I am the LORD thy God which teacheth thee to profit， which leadeth thee by the way that thou shouldest go.
48：18 甚愿你素來聽從我的命令，你的平安就如河水，你的公義就如海浪。
O that thou hadst hearkened to my commandments！ then had thy peace been as a river， and thy righteousness as the waves of the sea：
48：19 你的后裔也必多如海沙，你腹中所生的也必多如沙粒。他的名在我面前必不剪除，也不滅絕。
Thy seed also had been as the sand， and the offspring of thy bowels like the gravel thereof； his name should not have been cut off nor destroyed from before me.
48：20 你們要從巴比倫出來，從迦勒底人中逃脫，以歡呼的聲音傳揚說，耶和華救贖了他的仆人雅各，你們要將這事宣揚到地極。
Go ye forth of Babylon， flee ye from the Chaldeans， with a voice of singing declare ye， tell this， utter it even to the end of the earth； say ye， The LORD hath redeemed his servant Jacob.
48：21 耶和華引導他們，經過沙漠，他們并不乾渴，他為他們使水從磐石而流，分裂磐石水就涌出。
And they thirsted not when he led them through the deserts： he caused the waters to flow out of the rock for them： he clave the rock also， and the waters gushed out.
48：22 耶和華說，惡人必不得平安。
There is no peace， saith the LORD， unto the wicked.
