舊約 -- 箴言(Proverbs) -- 第8章

　　8：1 智慧豈不呼叫，聰明豈不發(fā)聲。

　　Doth not wisdom cry？ and understanding put forth her voice？

　　8：2 他在道旁高處的頂上，在十字路口站立。

　　She standeth in the top of high places， by the way in the places of the paths.

　　8：3 在城門旁，在城門口，在城門洞，大聲說(shuō)，She crieth at the gates， at the entry of the city， at the coming in at the doors.

　　8：4 眾人哪，我呼叫你們。我向世人發(fā)聲，Unto you， O men， I call； and my voice is to the sons of man.

　　8：5 說(shuō)，愚昧人哪，你們要會(huì)悟靈明。愚昧人哪，你們當(dāng)心里明白。

　　O ye simple， understand wisdom： and， ye fools， be ye of an understanding heart.

　　8：6 你們當(dāng)聽，因我要說(shuō)極美的話。我張嘴要論正直的事。

　　Hear； for I will speak of excellent things； and the opening of my lips shall be right things.

　　8：7 我的口要發(fā)出真理。我的嘴憎惡邪惡。

　　For my mouth shall speak truth； and wickedness is an abomination to my lips.

　　8：8 我口中的言語(yǔ)，都是公義，并無(wú)彎曲乖僻。

　　All the words of my mouth are in righteousness； there is nothing froward or perverse in them.

　　8：9 有聰明的以為明顯，得知識(shí)的以為正直。

　　They are all plain to him that understandeth， and right to them that find knowledge.

　　8：10 你們當(dāng)受我的教訓(xùn)，不受白銀。寧得知識(shí)，勝過(guò)黃金。

　　Receive my instruction， and not silver； and knowledge rather than choice gold.

　　8：11 因?yàn)橹腔郾日渲椋ɑ蜃骷t寶石）更美。一切可喜愛的，都不足與比較。

　　For wisdom is better than rubies； and all the things that may be desired are not to be compared to it.

　　8：12 我智慧以靈明為居所，又尋得知識(shí)和謀略。

　　I wisdom dwell with prudence， and find out knowledge of witty inventions.

　　8：13 敬畏耶和華，在乎恨惡邪惡。那驕傲，狂妄，并惡道，以及乖謬的口，都為我所恨惡。

　　The fear of the LORD is to hate evil： pride， and arrogancy， and the evil way， and the froward mouth， do I hate.

　　8：14 我有謀略，和真知識(shí)。我乃聰明。我有能力。

　　Counsel is mine， and sound wisdom： I am understanding； I have strength.

　　8：15 帝王藉我坐國(guó)位。君王藉我定公平。

　　By me kings reign， and princes decree justice.

　　8：16 王子和首領(lǐng)，世上一切的審判官，都是藉我掌權(quán)。

　　By me princes rule， and nobles， even all the judges of the earth.

　　8：17 愛我的，我也愛他。懇切尋求我的，必尋得見。

　　I love them that love me； and those that seek me early shall find me.

　　8：18 豐富尊榮在我。恒久的財(cái)并公義也在我。

　　Riches and honour are with me； yea， durable riches and righteousness.

　　8：19 我的果實(shí)勝過(guò)黃金。強(qiáng)如精金，我的出產(chǎn)超乎高銀。

　　My fruit is better than gold， yea， than fine gold； and my revenue than choice silver.

　　8：20 我在公義道上走，在公平的路上中行。

　　I lead in the way of righteousness， in the midst of the paths of judgment：

　　8：21 使愛我的承受貨財(cái)，并充滿他們的府庫(kù)。

　　That I may cause those that love me to inherit substance； and I will fill their treasures.

　　8：22 在耶和華造化的起頭，在太初創(chuàng)造萬(wàn)物之先，就有了我。

　　The LORD possessed me in the beginning of his way， before his works of old.

　　8：23 從亙古，從太初，未有世界以前，我已被立。

　　I was set up from everlasting， from the beginning， or ever the earth was.

　　8：24 沒(méi)有深淵，沒(méi)有大水的泉源，我已生出。

　　When there were no depths， I was brought forth； when there were no fountains abounding with water.

　　8：25 大山未曾奠定，小山未有之先，我已生出。

　　Before the mountains were settled， before the hills was I brought forth：

　　8：26 耶和華還沒(méi)有創(chuàng)造大地，和田野，并世上的土質(zhì)，我已生出。

　　While as yet he had not made the earth， nor the fields， nor the highest part of the dust of the world.

　　8：27 他立高天，我在那里。他在淵面的周圍，劃出圓圈，When he prepared the heavens， I was there： when he set a compass upon the face of the depth：

　　8：28 上使穹蒼堅(jiān)硬，下使淵源穩(wěn)固，When he established the clouds above： when he strengthened the fountains of the deep：

　　8：29 為滄海定出界限，使水不越過(guò)他的命令，立定大地的根基。

　　When he gave to the sea his decree， that the waters should not pass his commandment： when he appointed the foundations of the earth：

　　8：30 那時(shí)，我在他那里為工師，日日為他所喜愛，常常在他面前踴躍，Then I was by him， as one brought up with him： and I was daily his delight， rejoicing always before him；

　　8：31 踴躍在他為人豫備可住之地，也喜悅住在世人之間。

　　Rejoicing in the habitable part of his earth； and my delights were with the sons of men.

　　8：32 眾子阿，現(xiàn)在要聽從我。因?yàn)橹?jǐn)守我道的，便為有福。

　　Now therefore hearken unto me， O ye children： for blessed are they that keep my ways.

　　8：33 要聽教訓(xùn)，就得智慧，不可棄絕。

　　Hear instruction， and be wise， and refuse it not.

　　8：34 聽從我，日日在我門口仰望，在我門框旁邊等候的，那人便為有福。

　　Blessed is the man that heareth me， watching daily at my gates， waiting at the posts of my doors.

　　8：35 因?yàn)閷さ梦业模蛯さ蒙脖孛梢腿A的恩惠。

　　For whoso findeth me findeth life， and shall obtain favour of the LORD.

　　8：36 得罪我的，卻害了自己的性命。恨惡我的，都喜愛死亡。

　　But he that sinneth against me wrongeth his own soul： all they that hate me love death.
