Independent Writing：Limited development in response to the topic and task; Inadequate organization or connection of ideas; Inappropriate or insufficient exemplifications, explanations, or details; to support or illustrate generalizations in response to the task; A noticeably inappropriate choice of words or word forms; An accumulation of errors in sentence structure and/or usage.

獨立寫作：此分數的文章有以下不足：針對話題完成任務時論點展開有限;結構不太清晰或論點之間的聯系不充分;支持或是闡述論點時所使用的解釋、例證和/和細節不合適或不充分;存在明顯的選詞和/或拼寫錯誤;句子結構和/或用法上存在大量的錯誤。
