全國助殘日 Help-the-disabled Day
For every parent, their biggest wish is to watch their children grow up healthily. But unluckily, some people are born with disabled, or some of them meet disasters and being disabled. The public wants to help them and live the normal life. In 1990s, the government named the third Sunday of May as Help-the-disabled Day, in the hope of offering help to those unlucky people.
對(duì)于每個(gè)父母來說，他們最大的愿望就是看著自己的孩子健康成長。但不幸的是，有些人天生殘疾，或者遭遇災(zāi)難，變殘疾。公眾希望幫助他們，過上正常的生活。上世紀(jì)90年代，政府將五月的第三個(gè)星期日定為“全國助殘日”，希望能幫助那些不幸的人們。
Disabled people are easy to get rejected when they come to the job market. The employers want to hire someone who can bring them the biggest profit, so they refuse the disabled without hesitation. Actually, though some people may look imperfect, they have the strong will and are very responsible. They deserve to be given a chance.
殘疾人在進(jìn)入就業(yè)市場(chǎng)時(shí)很容易遭受拒絕。雇主們都想給自己招一個(gè)能給他們帶來最大利潤的人，所以他們會(huì)毫不猶豫地拒絕殘疾人。事實(shí)上，雖然有些人殘疾人看起來是有缺陷的，但他們有著堅(jiān)強(qiáng)的意志，和責(zé)任心。他們值得一個(gè)機(jī)會(huì)。
It is bad luck for people to lose part of the body. But the more horrible thing is the way the public sees them, treating them as the monsters. For those unlucky people, people from all walks of life should offer them help, and they need the chance to move on. The disabled are just as normal as us, only a little difference in appearance.
人們失去部分身體的人，是他們的運(yùn)氣不好，但更可怕的是公眾看待他們的方式，把他們當(dāng)成怪物。對(duì)于那些不幸的人，大家都應(yīng)該給予幫助，他們需要機(jī)會(huì)往前走。殘疾人和我們是一樣的，只是外表上有點(diǎn)點(diǎn)不同。
