Life is Struggle Everything in the world is in constant struggle, 'struggle' in the sense of competition in natural selection among organisms.世上萬物都置身于不斷的競(jìng)爭(zhēng)中，“競(jìng)爭(zhēng)”就是生物體之間在自然選擇過程中競(jìng)賽的意思。Animals and plants struggle for their existence. Nature provides them with weapons for that struggle.動(dòng)物和植物為生存而競(jìng)爭(zhēng)，大自然賦予了它們進(jìn)行競(jìng)爭(zhēng)的武器。Lions have claws; fish have scales; roses have thorns.獅子有爪，魚有鱗，玫瑰有刺。They use their weapons for the un- avoidable war of existence.Nature also orders us to struggle;when we obey Nature, we win our existence.它們使用這些武器為不可避免的生存之戰(zhàn)而戰(zhàn)。大自然也迫使我們?nèi)ジ?jìng)爭(zhēng)；如果我們遵循自然規(guī)律，我們就能生存。The result of struggle is the evolution of a better society.In order to surpass others, one has to devote himself to what he does.If every individual does so. the society will make progress.競(jìng)爭(zhēng)的結(jié)果是社會(huì)向好的方向發(fā)展。一個(gè)人為了超過其他人，應(yīng)該致力于自己的工作。如果每個(gè)人都做到這點(diǎn)，社會(huì)就會(huì)進(jìn)步。Struggle is inevitable.競(jìng)爭(zhēng)是不可避免的。But we should struggle with sportsmanship, not stand in the way of others in order to achieve our own success.It is Only by struggling in such a way that mankind will see a world getting more glorious day by day.但是我們應(yīng)該以運(yùn)動(dòng)員所具有的道德去參與競(jìng)爭(zhēng)，而不能為了自己的成功去擋住別人的路。只有通過這種方式的競(jìng)爭(zhēng)，人類才能擁有一個(gè)日益輝煌的世界。
