【小解】英文有一句成語：wearenotamused。據說，英國維多利亞女王（1819-1901）曾在溫莎堡晚宴，有人以丑聞作談助。女王聽了，冷冷的說：wearenotamused（朕不覺得有趣）。其實她有沒有說過這樣的話，不無疑問，但現在英語國家的人要表示「我不覺得有趣」，就會說wearenotamused，往往帶戲謔意味。這個we不是指「我們」，而是君主的自稱，頗似中文的「朕」或「寡人」，語言學者稱之為theroyal"we"。fiery則是fire（火）的形容詞，引伸解作「激烈的」，afierydebate即「激烈的辯論」。
