Traffic Jams in Shanghai
For the past ten years traffic jams in Shanghai have become more and more serious. There are many reasons for it but in general they come down to three main causes.
First， with the rapid development of economy in Shanghai， too many traffic tools are brought into use. Next， the traffic system in Shanghai was established mainly in the 1940's. The roads are so narrow that they can't bear such heavy traffic. The final reason is that the population of Shanghai has been increasing too fast. So， it is clear that the traffic system in Shanghai must be reorganized as soon as possible.
