2.識音標，記單詞
armchair n.扶手椅子；adj.舒適的， 安逸的，不切實際的an armchair strategist（紙上談兵者）， 空想的。
upstairs adv.向樓上， 在樓上， 上樓；adj.樓上的；n樓上，樓上房間。
downstairs adv.在樓下， 往樓下， 下樓；adj.樓下的，底樓的；n 樓下。
lair n.窩，巢穴，獸穴，躲藏處；vi.進巢穴；vt.給……設巢穴， 置于巢穴中。
wheelchair n.輪椅。
affair n.事務Ministry of Foreign Affairs（外交部）， 事件current affairs（時事）， 私事， 私通，戀愛事件，風流韻事； mind one's own affairs（少管閑事），put-up affair （詭計，圈套）。
3.鄰里鄰外
upstairs――去掉upstairs里的up變為：stairs n.樓梯
downstairs――把downstairs里的stairs換為ward變為：downward adj. 下方的， 向下的
armchair――把armchair里的chair換為band變為：armband n.臂章
lair――在lair后加d變為：laird n. 地主
affair――近義詞：event n.事件， 大事， 事情
