舊約 -- 約拿書(Jonah) -- 第2章
2：1 約拿在魚腹中禱告耶和華他的神，Then Jonah prayed unto the LORD his God out of the fish's belly，
2：2 說，我遭遇患難求告耶和華，你就應允我。從陰間的深處呼求，你就俯聽我的聲音。
And said， I cried by reason of mine affliction unto the LORD， and he heard me； out of the belly of hell cried I， and thou heardest my voice.
2：3 你將我投下深淵，就是海的深處。大水環繞我。你的波浪洪濤都漫過我身。
For thou hadst cast me into the deep， in the midst of the seas； and the floods compassed me about： all thy billows and thy waves passed over me.
2：4 我說，我從你眼前雖被驅逐，我仍要仰望你的圣殿。
Then I said， I am cast out of thy sight； yet I will look again toward thy holy temple.
2：5 諸水環繞我，幾乎淹沒我。深淵圍住我，海草纏繞我的頭。
The waters compassed me about， even to the soul： the depth closed me round about， the weeds were wrapped about my head.
2：6 我下到山根。地的門將我永遠關住。耶和華我的神阿，你卻將我的性命，從坑中救出來。
I went down to the bottoms of the mountains； the earth with her bars was about me for ever： yet hast thou brought up my life from corruption， O LORD my God.
2：7 我心在我里面發昏的時候，我就想念耶和華。我的禱告進入你的圣殿，達到你的面前。
When my soul fainted within me I remembered the LORD： and my prayer came in unto thee， into thine holy temple.
2：8 那信奉虛無之神的人，離棄憐愛他們的主。
They that observe lying vanities forsake their own mercy.
2：9 但我必用感謝的聲音獻祭與你。我所許的愿，我必償還。救恩出于耶和華。
But I will sacrifice unto thee with the voice of thanksgiving； I will pay that that I have vowed. Salvation is of the LORD.
2：10 耶和華吩咐魚，魚就把約拿吐在旱地上。
And the LORD spake unto the fish， and it vomited out Jonah upon the dry land.
