舊約 -- 耶利米書(shū)(Jeremiah) -- 第5章

　　5：1 你們當(dāng)在耶路撒冷的街上跑來(lái)跑去，在寬闊處尋梢，看看有一人行公義求誠(chéng)實(shí)沒(méi)有。若有，我就赦免這城。

　　Run ye to and fro through the streets of Jerusalem， and see now， and know， and seek in the broad places thereof， if ye can find a man， if there be any that executeth judgment， that seeketh the truth； and I will pardon it.

　　5：2 其中的人雖然指著永生的耶和華起誓，所起的誓實(shí)在是假的。

　　And though they say， The LORD liveth； surely they swear falsely.

　　5：3 耶和華阿，你的眼目不是看顧誠(chéng)實(shí)嗎。你擊打他們，他們卻不傷慟。你毀滅他們，他們?nèi)圆皇軕椭巍Ｋ麄兪鼓槃傆策^(guò)于磐石，不肯回頭。

　　O LORD， are not thine eyes upon the truth？ thou hast stricken them， but they have not grieved； thou hast consumed them， but they have refused to receive correction： they have made their faces harder than a rock； they have refused to return.

　　5：4 我說(shuō)，這些人實(shí)在是貧窮的，是愚昧的，因?yàn)椴粫缘靡腿A的作為和他們神的法則。

　　Therefore I said， Surely these are poor； they are foolish： for they know not the way of the LORD， nor the judgment of their God.

　　5：5 我要去見(jiàn)尊大的人，對(duì)他們說(shuō)話，因?yàn)樗麄儠缘靡腿A的作為和他們神的法則。哪知，這些人齊心將軛折斷，掙開(kāi)繩索。

　　I will get me unto the great men， and will speak unto them； for they have known the way of the LORD， and the judgment of their God： but these have altogether broken the yoke， and burst the bonds.

　　5：6 因此，林中的獅子必害死他們。晚上（或作野地）的豺狼必滅絕他們。豹子要在城外窺伺他們。凡出城的必被撕碎。因?yàn)樗麄兊淖镞^(guò)極多，背道的事也加增了。

　　Wherefore a lion out of the forest shall slay them， and a wolf of the evenings shall spoil them， a leopard shall watch over their cities： every one that goeth out thence shall be torn in pieces： because their transgressions are many， and their backslidings are increased.

　　5：7 我怎能赦免你呢。你的兒女離棄我，又指著那不是神的起誓。我使他們飽足，他們就行奸淫，成群地聚集在娼妓家里。

　　How shall I pardon thee for this？ thy children have forsaken me， and sworn by them that are no gods： when I had fed them to the full， they then committed adultery， and assembled themselves by troops in the harlots' houses.

　　5：8 他們像喂飽的馬到處亂跑，各向他鄰舍的妻發(fā)嘶聲。

　　They were as fed horses in the morning： every one neighed after his neighbour's wife.

　　5：9 耶和華說(shuō)，我豈不因這些事討罪呢。豈不報(bào)復(fù)這樣的國(guó)民呢。

　　Shall I not visit for these things？ saith the LORD： and shall not my soul be avenged on such a nation as this？

　　5：10 你們要上她葡萄園的墻施行毀壞，但不可毀壞凈盡，只可除掉她的枝子，因?yàn)椴粚僖腿A。

　　Go ye up upon her walls， and destroy； but make not a full end： take away her battlements； for they are not the LORD's.

　　5：11 原來(lái)以色列家和猶大家大行詭詐攻擊我。這是耶和華說(shuō)的。

　　For the house of Israel and the house of Judah have dealt very treacherously against me， saith the LORD.

　　5：12 他們不認(rèn)耶和華，說(shuō)，這并不是他，災(zāi)禍必不臨到我們。刀劍和饑荒，我們也看不見(jiàn)。

　　They have belied the LORD， and said， It is not he； neither shall evil come upon us； neither shall we see sword nor famine：

　　5：13 先知的話必成為風(fēng)。道也不在他們里面。這災(zāi)必臨到他們身上。

　　And the prophets shall become wind， and the word is not in them： thus shall it be done unto them.

　　5：14 所以耶和華萬(wàn)軍之神如此說(shuō)，因?yàn)榘傩照f(shuō)這話，我必使我的話在你口中為火，使他們?yōu)椴瘛＿@火便將他們燒滅。

　　Wherefore thus saith the LORD God of hosts， Because ye speak this word， behold， I will make my words in thy mouth fire， and this people wood， and it shall devour them.

　　5：15 耶和華說(shuō)，以色列家阿，我必使一國(guó)的民從遠(yuǎn)方來(lái)攻擊你，是強(qiáng)盛的國(guó)，是從古而有的國(guó)。他們的言語(yǔ)你不曉得，他們的話你不明白。

　　Lo， I will bring a nation upon you from far， O house of Israel， saith the LORD： it is a mighty nation， it is an ancient nation， a nation whose language thou knowest not， neither understandest what they say.

　　5：16 他們的箭袋是敞開(kāi)的墳?zāi)埂Ｋ麄兌际怯率俊?/p>

　　Their quiver is as an open sepulchre， they are all mighty men.

　　5：17 他們必吃盡你的莊稼和你的糧食，是你兒女該吃的。必吃盡你的牛羊，吃盡你的葡萄和無(wú)花果。又必用刀毀壞你所倚靠的堅(jiān)固城。

　　And they shall eat up thine harvest， and thy bread， which thy sons and thy daughters should eat： they shall eat up thy flocks and thine herds： they shall eat up thy vines and thy fig trees： they shall impoverish thy fenced cities， wherein thou trustedst， with the sword.

　　5：18 耶和華說(shuō)，就是到那時(shí)，我也不將你們毀滅凈盡。

　　Nevertheless in those days， saith the LORD， I will not make a full end with you.

　　5：19 百姓若說(shuō)，耶和華我們的神為什么向我們行這一切事呢。你就對(duì)他們說(shuō)，你們?cè)鯓与x棄耶和華（原文作我），在你們的地上事奉外邦神，也必照樣在不屬你們的地上事奉外邦人。

　　And it shall come to pass， when ye shall say， Wherefore doeth the LORD our God all these things unto us？ then shalt thou answer them， Like as ye have forsaken me， and served strange gods in your land， so shall ye serve strangers in a land that is not yours.

　　5：20 當(dāng)傳揚(yáng)在雅各家，報(bào)告在猶大說(shuō)，Declare this in the house of Jacob， and publish it in Judah， saying，

　　5：21 愚昧無(wú)知的百姓阿，你們有眼不看，有耳不聽(tīng)，現(xiàn)在當(dāng)聽(tīng)這話。

　　Hear now this， O foolish people， and without understanding； which have eyes， and see not； which have ears， and hear not：

　　5：22 耶和華說(shuō)，你們?cè)鯁岵粦峙挛夷亍Ｎ乙杂肋h(yuǎn)的定例，用沙為海的界限，水不得越過(guò)。因此，你們?cè)谖颐媲斑€不戰(zhàn)兢嗎。波浪雖然翻騰，卻不能逾越。雖然？？訇，卻不能過(guò)去。

　　Fear ye not me？ saith the LORD： will ye not tremble at my presence， which have placed the sand for the bound of the sea by a perpetual decree， that it cannot pass it： and though the waves thereof toss themselves， yet can they not prevail； though they roar， yet can they not pass over it？

　　5：23 但這百姓有背叛忤逆的心。他們叛我而去，But this people hath a revolting and a rebellious heart； they are revolted and gone.

　　5：24 心內(nèi)也不說(shuō)，我們應(yīng)當(dāng)敬畏耶和華我們的神。他按時(shí)賜雨，就是秋雨春雨，又為我們定收割的節(jié)令，永存不廢。

　　Neither say they in their heart， Let us now fear the LORD our God， that giveth rain， both the former and the latter， in his season： he reserveth unto us the appointed weeks of the harvest.

　　5：25 你們的罪孽使這些事轉(zhuǎn)離你們。你們的罪惡使你們不能得福。

　　Your iniquities have turned away these things， and your sins have withholden good things from you.

　　5：26 因?yàn)樵谖颐裰杏袗喝恕Ｋ麄兟穹Q探，好像捕鳥(niǎo)的人。他們?cè)O(shè)立圈套陷害人。

　　For among my people are found wicked men： they lay wait， as he that setteth snares； they set a trap， they catch men.

　　5：27 籠內(nèi)怎樣滿了雀鳥(niǎo)，他們的房中也照樣充滿詭詐。所以他們得成為大，而且富足。

　　As a cage is full of birds， so are their houses full of deceit： therefore they are become great， and waxen rich.

　　5：28 他們肥胖光潤(rùn)，作惡過(guò)甚，不為人伸冤。就是不為孤兒伸冤，不使他亨通，也不為窮人辨屈。

　　They are waxen fat， they shine： yea， they overpass the deeds of the wicked： they judge not the cause， the cause of the fatherless， yet they prosper； and the right of the needy do they not judge.

　　5：29 耶和華說(shuō)，我豈不因這些事討罪呢。豈不報(bào)復(fù)這樣的國(guó)民呢。

　　Shall I not visit for these things？ saith the LORD： shall not my soul be avenged on such a nation as this？

　　5：30 國(guó)中有可驚駭，可憎惡的事，A wonderful and horrible thing is committed in the land；

　　5：31 就是先知說(shuō)假預(yù)言，祭司藉他們把持權(quán)柄。我的百姓也喜愛(ài)這些事，到了結(jié)局你們?cè)鯓有心亍?/p>

　　The prophets prophesy falsely， and the priests bear rule by their means； and my people love to have it so： and what will ye do in the end thereof？
