39：1 （大衛(wèi)的詩，交與伶長耶杜頓）我曾說，我要謹(jǐn)慎我的言行，免得我舌頭犯罪。惡人在我面前的時(shí)候，我要用嚼回環(huán)勒住我的口。
I said， I will take heed to my ways， that I sin not with my tongue： I will keep my mouth with a bridle， while the wicked is before me.
39：2 我默然無聲，連好話也不出口。我的愁苦就發(fā)動了。
I was dumb with silence， I held my peace， even from good； and my sorrow was stirred.
39：3 我的心在我里面發(fā)熱。我默想的時(shí)候，火就燒起，我便用舌頭說話。
My heart was hot within me， while I was musing the fire burned： then spake I with my tongue，
39：4 耶和華阿，求你叫我曉得我身之終，我的壽數(shù)幾何，叫我知道我的生命不長。
LORD， make me to know mine end， and the measure of my days， what it is： that I may know how frail I am.
39：5 你使我的年日，窄如手掌。我一生的年數(shù)，在你面前，如同無有。各人最穩(wěn)妥的時(shí)候，真是全然虛幻。（細(xì)拉）
Behold， thou hast made my days as an handbreadth； and mine age is as nothing before thee： verily every man at his best state is altogether vanity. Selah.
39：6 世人行動實(shí)系幻影。他們忙亂，真是枉然。積蓄財(cái)寶，不知將來有誰收取。
Surely every man walketh in a vain shew： surely they are disquieted in vain： he heapeth up riches， and knoweth not who shall gather them.
39：7 主阿，如今我等什么呢。我的指望在乎你。
And now， Lord， what wait I for？ my hope is in thee.
39：8 求你救我脫離一切的過犯。不要使我受愚頑人的羞辱。
Deliver me from all my transgressions： make me not the reproach of the foolish.
39：9 因我所遭遇的是出于你，我默然不語。
I was dumb， I opened not my mouth； because thou didst it.
39：10 求你把你的責(zé)罰，從我身上免去。因你手的責(zé)打，我便消滅。
Remove thy stroke away from me： I am consumed by the blow of thine hand.
39：11 你因人的罪惡，懲罰他的時(shí)候，叫他的笑容消滅，（的笑容或作所喜愛的）如衣被蟲所咬。世人真是虛幻。（細(xì)拉）
When thou with rebukes dost correct man for iniquity， thou makest his beauty to consume away like a moth： surely every man is vanity. Selah.
39：12 耶和華阿。求你聽我的禱告，留心聽我的呼求。我流淚，求你不要靜默無聲。因?yàn)槲以谀忝媲笆强吐茫羌木拥模裎伊凶嬉话恪?/p>
Hear my prayer， O LORD， and give ear unto my cry； hold not thy peace at my tears： for I am a stranger with thee， and a sojourner， as all my fathers were.
39：13 求你寬容我，使我在去而不返之先，可以力量復(fù)原。
O spare me， that I may recover strength， before I go hence， and be no more.
