面對(duì)面交流是否更好
The issue whether face-to-face communication isbetter than any other communication means isquite controversial. While modern ways ofcommunication such as telephone calls or email canbe fast and convenient, fact-to-facecommunication has its own advantages.
面對(duì)面交流是否優(yōu)越于其他交流方式，這一話題引起了人們的爭(zhēng)議。例如電話、電子郵箱等現(xiàn)代交流方式更加便捷，但是面對(duì)面交流有它自己的優(yōu)勢(shì)。
Personally speaking, I don’t think face-to-face communication is better than any other ways ofcommunication.First of all, face-to-face communication is usually effective because peoplemeet and see each other, apart from the information exchanged verbally, things like their facialexpressions and body movements also help them understand each other, and so there is theleast chance for a misunderstanding to occur. But we have to admit that this way ofcommunication is overwhelmingly restricted by time and space, since quiteoften we willhave to communicate with people who are far away or tied up at the moment. On the otherhand,telephone calls, email, or text message under such circumstances become efficient meansof communication.We can call people if they are far away, and we can email them if they aretied up for the time being. Furthermore, making telephone calls is also a way of immediatecommunication except that we can’t see the person. Nowadays there are also various real-time chat tools through the Internet available. Video and audioonline communication canfunction equally like face-to-face communication.
我個(gè)人認(rèn)為，我不認(rèn)為面對(duì)面交流優(yōu)越于其它交流方式。首先，面對(duì)面交流更有效率，因?yàn)槿藗兘?jīng)常見面，除了口頭的信息溝通，他們的面部表情，肢體動(dòng)作都有益于人們的理解，所以，產(chǎn)生誤會(huì)的幾率就會(huì)降低。但是，我們不得不承認(rèn)的是這種交流方式受到了時(shí)間和空間的限制，通常，我們都是與距離相隔較遠(yuǎn)，以及正在忙碌的人們交流。從另一方面說，電話、郵箱或者是短信在這種情況下就更加有效。我們可以給距離相隔較遠(yuǎn)的人打電話，如果他們比較忙，我們還可以給他們發(fā)電子郵箱。此外，除了無(wú)法看見對(duì)方以外，打電話是最直接的溝通方式。如今，在網(wǎng)絡(luò)上有許多實(shí)時(shí)對(duì)話工具。在線的視頻和語(yǔ)音聊天就等同于面對(duì)面交流。
In a nutshell, I don’t think face-to-face communication is better than any othercommunication means in the fast-paced world. With the fast development of science andtechnology, I am positive that there will bemore efficient and effective ways ofcommunication in the future.
