4種典型的雅思寫作錯誤 千萬要避免

Traffic and housing problems in major cities could be solved by moving large companies and factories and their employees to the countryside. Do you agree or disagree?
觀點一： it might cost a lot when moving large companies and factories, since it will prove difficult to operate business in remote areas.
錯誤：是否容易做生意，帶來經(jīng)濟效益并不能夠解釋是否應(yīng)該將公司或者工廠移到市郊去。因為文章只在乎是否能夠解決住房和交通問題，至于其中的經(jīng)濟得失不在文章討論之列。
觀點二：it is nearly impossible to move large companies and factories at once, for most of companies are large in size.
錯誤：能不能夠?qū)⒐S和公司移到市郊也不在文章討論范圍。題目很明顯已經(jīng)作出一個假設(shè)，就是把公司和工廠搬到市郊是完全有可能的，目前所關(guān)注的是這個做法是否可以解決住房和交通問題。
觀點三： sceneries are gorgeous at the countryside, and newcoming factories will injure the local environment.
是否影響當(dāng)?shù)丨h(huán)境造成污染并不重要。解決交通問題和解決污染問題沒有任何關(guān)系，即便交通會產(chǎn)生污染問題!
Do you think old buildings should be broken down, and give place for modern buildings. How are the old buildings important in our society?
觀點一： some old buildings attract multimillion tourists every year (such as the Great Wall), so to demolish it will mean a loss to the city where it is located.
本觀點從旅游觀光或者考古的角度說古老建筑并沒有錯，可是錯在沒有理解Building的含義，Building 不同于construction, 長城才算 construction。這道題和很多常見的雅思題不一樣，就是考到了某種名詞的確切意思，考生日后到了國外的大學(xué)會寫很多essay, 而寫一篇好的essay往往第一段就要解釋或者界定文章題目的某個核心名詞。我第一次看到上述的題目時，我的反應(yīng)就是商業(yè)用樓，住宅用樓，工業(yè)用樓，而不是長城，金字塔，埃菲爾鐵塔，因為Building的意思是a structure that has a roof and walls and stands more or less permanently in one place（摘自WORLD字典）；有的考生或許會覺得在考場上沒有字典去翻查一個名詞，是不是很不公平，因為一篇嚴謹?shù)奈恼滦枰Y料去論證。然而，大家忽視了Building是一個非常簡單的單詞，它的詞義已經(jīng)到了常識的地步，如果這樣的單詞不認識，而產(chǎn)生審題的偏差，考不到理想分數(shù)也是當(dāng)然。
觀點二：old buildings are valuable assets for those archeologists to study the human activities before the War, since some records had turned ruins .
本來古老建筑可以用于考古價值無可厚非，但是是否只適合分析戰(zhàn)爭之前的人類行為就值得商榷。這句話最大的問題就是把古老建筑看作是考古學(xué)家唯一可以利用的物體去分析戰(zhàn)爭之前的人類行為。改正的方法很簡單，把before the War去掉。
