第一篇：
I spent the first night alone at home when I was only five years old. I turned on all the lamps, but I was still so scared that I heard some voices from time to time. But when I tried to find out, they were nowhere. It was really the longest night I had spent.
5歲那年，我度過了第一個獨自在家的夜晚。我把所有的燈都打開，可我還是非常害怕，時不時地聽到周圍有什么動靜。可當我走近時又什么都沒有。那真是我所過的一個最漫長的夜晚。
第二篇：
One night, mother and father were out. So I had to spend the whole night alone. I was so frightened that suddenly I heard some noise from the kitchen. I quiefiy took a broom and sneaked in, and quickly turned on the light. There was no one. It turned out that the noise was from the tap.
一天晚上，媽媽和爸爸出門去了。我只好獨自在家度過整個夜晚，我真是害怕極了。突然我聽到廚房有動靜，我悄悄地拿了一把笤帚，躡手躡腳地溜進去。我迅速打開燈，廚房里沒有人，原來聲音是從水龍頭里發出來的。
