為進一步深化中非合作，雙方應牢牢把握以下四項原則：
真誠平等相待 treating each other sincerely and equally
增進團結互信 consolidating solidarity and mutual trust
共謀包容發展 jointly pursuing inclusive development
創新務實合作 promoting innovation in bilateral practical cooperation
著眼未來，中國愿與非洲國家共同努力，積極推進六大工程，打造中非全面合作的升級版：
實施產業合作工程 cooperation in industry
實施金融合作工程 cooperation in finance
實施減貧合作工程 cooperation in poverty reduction
實施生態環保合作工程 cooperation in ecological protection
實施人文交流合作工程 cooperation in people-to-people exchanges
實施和平安全合作工程 cooperation in peace and security
