舊約 -- 以賽亞書(Isaiah) -- 第21章
21：1 論海旁曠野的默示。有仇敵從曠野，從可怕之地而來，好像南方的旋風，猛然掃過。
The burden of the desert of the sea. As whirlwinds in the south pass through； so it cometh from the desert， from a terrible land.
21：2 令人凄慘的異象，已默示于我。詭詐的行詭詐，毀滅的行毀滅。以攔哪，你要上去?，敶ⅲ阋獓?。主說，我使一切嘆息止住。
A grievous vision is declared unto me； the treacherous dealer dealeth treacherously， and the spoiler spoileth. Go up， O Elam： besiege， O Media； all the sighing thereof have I made to cease.
21：3 所以我滿腰疼痛。痛苦將我抓住，好像產難的婦人一樣。我疼痛甚至不能聽。我驚惶甚至不能看。
Therefore are my loins filled with pain： pangs have taken hold upon me， as the pangs of a woman that travaileth： I was bowed down at the hearing of it； I was dismayed at the seeing of it.
21：4 我心慌張，驚恐威嚇我，我所羨慕的黃昏，變為我的戰兢。
My heart panted， fearfulness affrighted me： the night of my pleasure hath he turned into fear unto me.
21：5 他們擺設筵席，派人守望，又吃又喝。首領阿，你們起來，用油抹盾牌。
Prepare the table， watch in the watchtower， eat， drink： arise， ye princes， and anoint the shield.
21：6 主對我如此說，你去設立守望的，使他將所看見的述說。
For thus hath the LORD said unto me， Go， set a watchman， let him declare what he seeth.
21：7 他看見軍隊，就是騎馬的一對一對的來，又看見驢隊，駱駝隊，就要側耳細聽。
And he saw a chariot with a couple of horsemen， a chariot of asses， and a chariot of camels； and he hearkened diligently with much heed：
21：8 他像獅子吼叫，說，主阿，我白日常站在望樓上，整夜立在我守望所。
And he cried， A lion： My lord， I stand continually upon the watchtower in the daytime， and I am set in my ward whole nights：
21：9 看哪，有一隊軍兵騎著馬，一對一對的來。他就說，巴比倫傾倒了。傾倒了，他一切雕刻的神像，都打碎于地。
And， behold， here cometh a chariot of men， with a couple of horsemen. And he answered and said， Babylon is fallen， is fallen； and all the graven images of her gods he hath broken unto the ground.
21：10 我被打的禾稼，我場上的谷阿，我從萬軍之耶和華以色列的神那里所聽見的，都告訴你們了。
O my threshing， and the corn of my floor： that which I have heard of the LORD of hosts， the God of Israel， have I declared unto you.
21：11 論度瑪的默示。有人聲從西珥呼問我，說，守望的阿，夜里如何。守望的阿，夜里如何。
The burden of Dumah. He calleth to me out of Seir， Watchman， what of the night？ Watchman， what of the night？
21：12 守望的說，早晨將到，黑夜也來。你們若要問，就可以問，可以回頭再來。
The watchman said， The morning cometh， and also the night： if ye will enquire， enquire ye： return， come.
21：13 論阿拉伯的默示。底但結伴的客旅阿，你們必在阿拉伯的樹林中住宿。
The burden upon Arabia. In the forest in Arabia shall ye lodge， O ye travelling companies of Dedanim.
21：14 提瑪地的居民拿水來，送給口渴的，拿餅來迎接逃避的。
The inhabitants of the land of Tema brought water to him that was thirsty， they prevented with their bread him that fled.
21：15 因為他們逃避刀劍，和出了鞘的刀，并上了弦的弓，與刀兵的重災。
For they fled from the swords， from the drawn sword， and from the bent bow， and from the grievousness of war.
21：16 主對我這樣說，一年之內，照雇工的年數，基達的一切榮耀必歸于無有。
For thus hath the LORD said unto me， Within a year， according to the years of an hireling， and all the glory of Kedar shall fail：
21：17 弓箭手所馀剩的，就是基達人的勇士，必然稀少。因為這是耶和華以色列的神說的。
And the residue of the number of archers， the mighty men of the children of Kedar， shall be diminished： for the LORD God of Israel hath spoken it.
