舊約 -- 撒母耳記上(1 Samuel) -- 第16章

　　16：1 耶和華對(duì)撒母耳說(shuō)，我既厭棄掃羅作以色列的王，你為他悲傷要到幾時(shí)呢。你將膏油盛滿了角，我差遣你往伯利恒人耶西那里去。因?yàn)槲以谒娮又畠?nèi)，預(yù)定一個(gè)作王的。

　　And the LORD said unto Samuel， How long wilt thou mourn for Saul， seeing I have rejected him from reigning over Israel？ fill thine horn with oil， and go， I will send thee to Jesse the Bethlehemite： for I have provided me a king among his sons.

　　16：2 撒母耳說(shuō)，我怎能去呢。掃羅若聽(tīng)見(jiàn)，必要?dú)⑽摇Ｒ腿A說(shuō)，你可以帶一只牛犢去，就說(shuō)，我來(lái)是要向耶和華獻(xiàn)祭。

　　And Samuel said， How can I go？ if Saul hear it， he will kill me. And the LORD said， Take an heifer with thee， and say， I am come to sacrifice to the LORD.

　　16：3 你要請(qǐng)耶西來(lái)吃祭肉，我就指示你所當(dāng)行的事。我所指給你的人，你要膏他。

　　And call Jesse to the sacrifice， and I will shew thee what thou shalt do： and thou shalt anoint unto me him whom I name unto thee.

　　16：4 撒母耳就照耶和華的話去行。到了伯利恒，那城里的長(zhǎng)老都戰(zhàn)戰(zhàn)兢兢地出來(lái)迎接他，問(wèn)他說(shuō)，你是為平安來(lái)的嗎。

　　And Samuel did that which the LORD spake， and came to Bethlehem. And the elders of the town trembled at his coming， and said， Comest thou peaceably？

　　16：5 他說(shuō)，為平安來(lái)的，我是給耶和華獻(xiàn)祭。你們當(dāng)自潔，來(lái)與我同吃祭肉。撒母耳就使耶西和他眾子自潔，請(qǐng)他們來(lái)吃祭肉。

　　And he said， Peaceably： I am come to sacrifice unto the LORD： sanctify yourselves， and come with me to the sacrifice. And he sanctified Jesse and his sons， and called them to the sacrifice.

　　16：6 他們來(lái)的時(shí)候，撒母耳看見(jiàn)以利押，就心里說(shuō)，耶和華的受膏者必定在他面前。

　　And it came to pass， when they were come， that he looked on Eliab， and said， Surely the LORD's anointed is before him.

　　16：7 耶和華卻對(duì)撒母耳說(shuō)，不要看他的外貌和他身材高大，我不揀選他。因?yàn)椋腿A不像人看人，人是看外貌。耶和華是看內(nèi)心。

　　But the LORD said unto Samuel， Look not on his countenance， or on the height of his stature； because I have refused him： for the LORD seeth not as man seeth； for man looketh on the outward appearance， but the LORD looketh on the heart.

　　16：8 耶西叫亞比拿達(dá)從撒母耳面前經(jīng)過(guò)，撒母耳說(shuō)，耶和華也不揀選他。

　　Then Jesse called Abinadab， and made him pass before Samuel. And he said， Neither hath the LORD chosen this.

　　16：9 耶西又叫沙瑪從撒母耳面前經(jīng)過(guò)，撒母耳說(shuō)，耶和華也不揀選他。

　　Then Jesse made Shammah to pass by. And he said， Neither hath the LORD chosen this.

　　16：10 耶西叫他七個(gè)兒子都從撒母耳面前經(jīng)過(guò)，撒母耳說(shuō)，這都不是耶和華所揀選的。

　　Again， Jesse made seven of his sons to pass before Samuel. And Samuel said unto Jesse， The LORD hath not chosen these.

　　16：11 撒母耳對(duì)耶西說(shuō)，你的兒子都在這里嗎。他回答說(shuō)，還有個(gè)小的，現(xiàn)在放羊。撒母耳對(duì)耶西說(shuō)，你打發(fā)人去叫他來(lái)。他若不來(lái)，我們必不坐席。

　　And Samuel said unto Jesse， Are here all thy children？ And he said， There remaineth yet the youngest， and， behold， he keepeth the sheep. And Samuel said unto Jesse， Send and fetch him： for we will not sit down till he come hither.

　　16：12 耶西就打發(fā)人去叫了他來(lái)。他面色光紅，雙目清秀，容貌俊美。耶和華說(shuō)，這就是他，你起來(lái)膏他。

　　And he sent， and brought him in. Now he was ruddy， and withal of a beautiful countenance， and goodly to look to. And the LORD said， Arise， anoint him： for this is he.

　　16：13 撒母耳就用角里的膏油，在他諸兄中膏了他。從這日起，耶和華的靈就大大感動(dòng)大衛(wèi)。撒母耳起身回拉瑪去了。

　　Then Samuel took the horn of oil， and anointed him in the midst of his brethren： and the Spirit of the LORD came upon David from that day forward. So Samuel rose up， and went to Ramah.

　　16：14 耶和華的靈離開(kāi)掃羅，有惡魔從耶和華那里來(lái)擾亂他。

　　But the Spirit of the LORD departed from Saul， and an evil spirit from the LORD troubled him.

　　16：15 掃羅的臣仆對(duì)他說(shuō)，現(xiàn)在有惡魔從神那里來(lái)擾亂你。

　　And Saul's servants said unto him， Behold now， an evil spirit from God troubleth thee.

　　16：16 我們的主可以吩咐面前的臣仆，找一個(gè)善于彈琴的來(lái)，等神那里來(lái)的惡魔臨到你身上的時(shí)候，使他用手彈琴，你就好了。

　　Let our lord now command thy servants， which are before thee， to seek out a man， who is a cunning player on an harp： and it shall come to pass， when the evil spirit from God is upon thee， that he shall play with his hand， and thou shalt be well.

　　16：17 掃羅對(duì)臣仆說(shuō)，你們可以為我找一個(gè)善于彈琴的，帶到我這里來(lái)。

　　And Saul said unto his servants， Provide me now a man that can play well， and bring him to me.

　　16：18 其中有一個(gè)少年人說(shuō)，我曾見(jiàn)伯利恒人耶西的一個(gè)兒子善于彈琴，是大有勇敢的戰(zhàn)士，說(shuō)話合宜，容貌俊美，耶和華也與他同在。

　　Then answered one of the servants， and said， Behold， I have seen a son of Jesse the Bethlehemite， that is cunning in playing， and a mighty valiant man， and a man of war， and prudent in matters， and a comely person， and the LORD is with him.

　　16：19 于是掃羅差遣使者去見(jiàn)耶西，說(shuō)，請(qǐng)你打發(fā)你放羊的兒子大衛(wèi)到我這里來(lái)。

　　Wherefore Saul sent messengers unto Jesse， and said， Send me David thy son， which is with the sheep.

　　16：20 耶西就把幾個(gè)餅和一皮袋酒，并一只山羊羔，都馱在驢上，交給他兒子大衛(wèi)，送與掃羅。

　　And Jesse took an ass laden with bread， and a bottle of wine， and a kid， and sent them by David his son unto Saul.

　　16：21 大衛(wèi)到了掃羅那里，就侍立在掃羅面前。掃羅甚喜愛(ài)他，他就作了掃羅拿兵器的人。

　　And David came to Saul， and stood before him： and he loved him greatly； and he became his armourbearer.

　　16：22 掃羅差遣人去見(jiàn)耶西，說(shuō)，求你容大衛(wèi)侍立在我面前，因?yàn)樗谖已矍懊闪硕鳌?/p>

　　And Saul sent to Jesse， saying， Let David， I pray thee， stand before me； for he hath found favour in my sight.

　　16：23 從神那里來(lái)的惡魔臨到掃羅身上的時(shí)候，大衛(wèi)就拿琴，用手而彈，掃羅便舒暢爽快，惡魔離了他。

　　And it came to pass， when the evil spirit from God was upon Saul， that David took an harp， and played with his hand： so Saul was refreshed， and was well， and the evil spirit departed from him.
