I found myself wondering， though， how his morning had been. What had been his last words to his wife？ To his children？ To his friends？ What had he done the day before？ The week before？ What had been his last contributionsto this planet of ours and its people？

I know that one day my body will be lying somewhere， completely spiritless after I die. My hope is that when that time comes， I won't be leaving many things left unsaid. I hope thatI will have told the people I love that I love them， and I hope that my last words to no one will have been words of anger or discouragement. I hope that even if today was my last day， my last words to anyone might have been words of encouragement， love， and peace. （to be continued）

然而，我卻很想知道，他這個(gè)早上到底是怎樣過(guò)的？他對(duì)妻子最后說(shuō)了些什么呢？對(duì)孩子和朋友說(shuō)的又是什么？他昨天做了些什么？上個(gè)星期呢？他對(duì)我們這個(gè)地球以及人類所做的最后的貢獻(xiàn)又是什么？

我知道，某一天，我也會(huì)躺在某處死去，死后無(wú)知無(wú)覺(jué)，一切都結(jié)束了。我只是希望，那個(gè)時(shí)刻到來(lái)的時(shí)候，我不會(huì)有太多要說(shuō)的話還沒(méi)有說(shuō)。我希望我已經(jīng)告訴了我愛(ài)的人我愛(ài)他們，我希望我臨終時(shí)不要對(duì)任何人說(shuō)出怨憤或是令人氣餒的話。我希望，即使今天是我生命的最后一天，我給任何人留下的也都是充滿鼓勵(lì)、愛(ài)與和平的話。（待續(xù)）
