——郭沫若
許久儲(chǔ)蓄在心里的詩(shī)料(1)，今晨在理發(fā)店里又浮上了心來(lái)了。——
你年青的，年青的，遠(yuǎn)隔河山的(2)姑娘喲，你的名姓我不曾知道，你恕我只能這樣叫你了。
那回是春天的晚上吧？你替我剪了發(fā)，替我刮了面，替我盥洗了(3)，又替我涂了香膏。
你最后替我分頭的時(shí)候，我在鏡中看見(jiàn)你替我拔去了一根白發(fā)(4)。
啊，你年青的，年青的遠(yuǎn)隔河山的姑娘喲，漂泊者自從那回離開(kāi)你后又漂泊了三年，但是你的慧心(5) 替我把青春留住了。
注釋：
《白發(fā)》是郭沫若的早期小品，熱情奔放，玲瓏而富有詩(shī)意，是一首優(yōu)美的散文詩(shī)。
(1)“許久儲(chǔ)蓄在心里的詩(shī)料”譯為My long pent-up poetic emotion。“儲(chǔ)蓄在心里”意即“被抑制的”，故譯為pent-up。“詩(shī)料”即“詩(shī)情”，故譯為poetic emotion。
(2)“遠(yuǎn)隔河山的”不必按字面直譯，現(xiàn)按“遙遠(yuǎn)的”意思譯為of the distant (或remote) land。
(3)“替我盥洗了”在此指“替我洗了頭”，故譯為gave me a shampoo。
(4)“拔去了一根白發(fā)”譯為plucking out a white hair from my head，其中hair作可數(shù)名詞用。
(5)“慧心”在這里可按“溫柔體貼”、“富有同情的心”等含義譯為feeling heart或tender heart。

My long pent-up poetic emotion emerged again this morning at a hairdresser’s
O young lady, you young lady of the distant land! Excuse me for addressing you as “young lady”, for your name is still unknown to me.
It was probably on a spring evening. You cut my hair, shaved my face, gave me a shampoo and applied some vanishing cream.
Finally, in the mirror I saw you plucking out a white hair from my head while parting my hair.
O young lady, you young lady of the distant land, I have been leading a wandering life for another three years since I saw you last, but it is your feeling heart that has been the cause of my sustained youth.
