今天考試的雅思寫作題目的特點(diǎn)是對(duì)想法有比較大的限制，雙方的理由必須圍繞著一個(gè)社會(huì)的犯罪率是否因此減少，如果同學(xué)們的idea沒能往這個(gè)點(diǎn)靠攏，那這個(gè) idea就跑題了。做個(gè)假設(shè)：如果同學(xué)們將“政府應(yīng)該加大懲罰的力度”，“媒體應(yīng)該讓更多人知道一些罪犯是如何設(shè)置騙局”，這兩個(gè)idea作為一方的理 由，這兩個(gè)想法無法做到很好的切題。因?yàn)樵擃}首先考的不是應(yīng)該采取哪些方式，而是為什么這些方式有效，或者無效!

另一方：相關(guān)措施幾乎不能減少社會(huì)犯罪率的理由

1. 犯罪率高很大程度上是一個(gè)社會(huì)的經(jīng)濟(jì)程度發(fā)達(dá)程度，財(cái)富分配，貧富差距來決定的，上述的理由無法根本上，長(zhǎng)遠(yuǎn)的解決問題。

下面給大家提供一方觀點(diǎn)的其中一個(gè)理由的具體行文：

社會(huì)的犯罪率部分取決于政府對(duì)待罪犯的嚴(yán)厲程度，一個(gè)理性的潛在的罪犯將停止對(duì)社會(huì)的傷害，當(dāng)他意識(shí)到自己可能付出的代價(jià)大大超過了可能帶來的利益。 一個(gè)將搶劫犯處以終身監(jiān)禁的社會(huì)所面臨的犯罪問題少于其他的更加仁慈社會(huì)。

The crime rate of a society is partly determined by the level to which a criminal is penalized. Potential criminals, provided rational enough, will stop their act at the thought that the possible price they might pay would greatly outweigh the possible benefit they may acquire. And the effect of harsher punishment in deterring criminals can also be evidenced by the fact that a society treating a robber with lifelong sentence faces fewer crime problems than its counterparts with more merciful measures.

Nowadays, an increasing number of people are scared to leave their homes alone due to crimes. Some people argue that regardless of what measures have been taken to struggle against thieves or robberies, the crime rate cannot be lowered substantially, while others contend that anti-crime action is capable of preventing people’s lives and properties from being threatened by criminals. Personally, I am in favor of the latter view.

如今，越來越多的人因?yàn)榉缸锒桓译x開自己的家。一些人認(rèn)為，無論采取什么措施來打擊小偷或搶劫，犯罪率都不能大幅降低，而另一些人則認(rèn)為，反犯罪行為可以防止人們的生活和財(cái)產(chǎn)受到犯罪分子的威脅。就我個(gè)人而言，我贊成后者的觀點(diǎn)。

Convincing arguments can be made that taking effective measures brings numerous merits to the protection of properties. To start with, adopting safeguard procedures in advance, such as installing safeguard doors, are conducive to deterring potential criminals. Apart from serving as a facility to prevent homes from being stolen and robbed, safeguard measures are more likely to play a practical role in indicating criminals that hosts have taken precautions against crime.

Lastly, implementing necessary guard action can offer a sense of security to people when they are out of their apartments. It is obvious that people can be easily distracted, if they are always anxious about whether their homes are or have suffered from illegal invasion.

However, we cannot deny the fact that the existing measures may carry potential drawbacks. It is remarkable that last year, over 200 types of safety anti-thief systems were identified and exposed due to the inferior quality and their sponsor manufacturers are penalized accordingly.

Despite that, the advantages created by the measures far outweigh the adverse impact. Overall, I am convinced that people should strengthen their awareness of security and in the meantime governments should issue relevant laws to supervise the quality of security systems.
