Obviously, that simple decision does not need ten minutes to consider gains and losses. In some situations, there is not so much time for us to think twice, because the chance may be lost in any minute when we hesitate. For example, someone fells into the river and is drowning. In this case, most people will try to rescue the drowning one without delay. Another case is that sometimes we need to make quick decisions to grasp opportunities.
