The Key Problem of the Key School
Schools stronger in financial conditions, teaching staff and academic reputations are designated "key" and would become stronger with the backing of more official assistance. Nowadays key schools are the most popular stars. Students of course prefer the key schools because they can enjoy modern teaching buildings, advanced multimedia classrooms, outdoor stadiums and even indoor stadiums. To parents, the key school is the first key to the bright future of their children. At the beginning of every new semester there are plenty of parents willing to do whatever it takes to send their children to a school or class with a "key" label.
After absorbing great amount of social resources, these key schools could not payback thousands of elites; instead they become a kind of dangerous time bomb. When key schools occupy most of government funds,those non—key ones, which are badly in need of a helping hand from the government, could only get less attention and support; thus become less competitive and less attractive. The gap between key schools and non—key schools is becoming so wide that it would seriously affect the education system of our country entirely. What is worse is that imbalanced education would do great damage to the social justice and harmony. We need effective measures, or it would be too late.

但是重點(diǎn)學(xué)校在吸收了大量社會(huì)資源后，卻并不能回饋社會(huì)以更多的精英;相反，重點(diǎn)學(xué)校變成了一顆危險(xiǎn)的定時(shí)炸彈。當(dāng)重點(diǎn)學(xué)校拿走大部分的政府資助時(shí)，那些急需政府幫助的非重點(diǎn)學(xué)校不受重視。重點(diǎn)學(xué)校和非重點(diǎn)學(xué)校之間的差距越來越大，以至于使我們國家的整個(gè)教育事業(yè)都受影響。更為嚴(yán)重的是，教育的不均衡發(fā)展勢(shì)必會(huì)嚴(yán)重破壞社會(huì)的公正和和諧。我們要采取有效措施，以免為時(shí)過晚。
