The following factors contribute to this excess spending. First of all, as the only child of their families, many students are the apples in their families' eyes and naturally get more care and pocket money. Some are even spoiled and take spending money from their parents for granted. In addition, with the improvement of living standards, parents can also afford higher expenditure of their children.
