The picture below illustrates the real meaning of love, by stressing the fact that love is emotional strength, which can support us no matter how dark the world around us becomes. As a matter of fact, throughout history people of many different cultures have regarded love as the most sublime of human emotions。
As an illustration of the power of love, we should remember how the Chinese people of all nationalities respond to the call to help the victims of the deadly earthquake in Sichuan Province in 2008. Although their incomes are still low by international standards, people all over the country do not hesitate to donate whatever they can——be it money or goods——to help their needy fellow citizens. Furthermore, they do this with no thought of gain for themselves。
It is my view that the best way to show love is to help people who are more unfortunate than we are. Only by doing so can we help to make the world a better place。
愛(ài)的真正含義，它強(qiáng)調(diào)了愛(ài)心是情感的力量，不論我們周圍的世界多么黑暗，愛(ài)心都能支撐我們。事實(shí)上，歷史上處于不同文化中的人們都把愛(ài)當(dāng)作人類最高尚的情感。
舉一個(gè)例子證明愛(ài)心的力量，我們應(yīng)該記得2008年中國(guó)各族人民如何響應(yīng)號(hào)召去支援四川地震中的受難者。盡管他們的收入按照國(guó)際標(biāo)準(zhǔn)衡量還是處于低水平，但是全國(guó)人民毫不猶豫地盡他們所能捐獻(xiàn)——不管是錢，還是物品——去幫助那些受難的同胞們。并且，他們這么做不考慮自己的得失。
我認(rèn)為，表示愛(ài)心的最好方式是幫助比我們更加不幸的人。這樣，我們能夠助一臂之力把世界變成一個(gè)更美好的地方。
