Please look at this photo. It was taken with some little Pakistani friends when I visited Summer Palace in Beijing on a spring day in 1997.
In the photo, the tall girl in red is called Amabel. She is nine years old and in the third grade of a primary school. She likes singing and dancing. The boy wearing a red cap beside her is called Maltz. He is six years old and in the first grade of a primary school. He loves football and desires to be the second Maradona. The girl in white sweater in the first row is only three years old, and she is naughty but lovely.
They live in Beijing and they like China. Do you know who the Chinese boy is? Let me tell you: he is my little brother.
Now let me introduce myself. My name is Qidi, in Class Two, Grade Five in Shengli Street School, in Jinan. There are 67 students in my class. I like English classes and I like singing English songs. I study hard. I love my school, my teachers and my classmates.
