Good universities can have bad graduates. And it's the same the other way around. If you have already entered a university which happens not to be your ideal one. Then accept it. Your future counts more on what you do in the following four years.
As for the weigh of influence, no one is actually sure about it.

in my view, it's very important. just supporsed, the top 500 will not choose the graduates who are not from 211 universities! as i known, the P&G employ the intership or new staff and most of them are from BEIJING UNI. that's a truth in China.
