What is Business English?

My major is BE,but I really don't know the purpose and the future road.
Nearly every college has such major, so the competition must be considerable
cruel.

At first,thank you for giving me advice.In my humble opinion,I want to be a scholar,do you konw?
In fact,I wanna be a Chinese teacher in the foreign countries.
I'm not accustomed to Chinese educational system at all,which
is contrary to my character.
Maybe I will choose menial jobs instantly after graduating,but I
will always tell myself: my heart belongs to another sky.

Dont want to get useful advice from those un professional people,although you can do this most of times ,but the useful ones will always come from those who are now in the field,you can try to ask them.
but the main point and the key factors will be always you.

I chose such major just 'coz I love English,but I think I'm not
suitbale to Business career.I am apt to teaching or training fields.
However,I don't like the normal English major.What suits me is
practical English,including News English,and I love reading China Daily.Please point me a right way.Thanks a million!!!

yea,of course the reality is jsut like what you said,
but although a lot of people study,few of them pay full heart into the course
and this make we have a lot of people who are majoring in this course but can not use it at all,so study hard and you will find you will have a lot of choices,such as project management,e-bussiness,BPO and so on
but this will be decided by yourself,what kind of field you are intersting?
after you find the answer to this question,I think you can go further.
