I think that you can make friends with anyone you like no matter what way you know each other. Netfriends are differ from those in real ilfe just in the way you got to know each other. If you want to make friends with them after one or two conversations which you may feel comfortable talking to them, then you may want to become friends. Then you can be friends. Just like in real life, it happens almost the same way. While you cannot see the other in person while being netfriends, but I don't think this can be a problem, we can meet each other if we like, and we can use the camera on the computer.
